Asif is 17 and has the mind of a child. He gets very excited very quickly and is likely to get himself into trouble by convincing himself that Tania is the devil, Darrel is a terrorist or the building is haunted. The problem is that his mum and dad do all his thinking for him and so he often has trouble thinking for himself. He doesn’t mind his job and is especially enthusiastic about envelopes with little windows in. Asif likes Lee Ann and would be prepared to go out with her and might even let her join his gang, even though she is a girl.
