Played by Nigel Havers

Nigel Havers, returns as senior solicitor, Mike at personal injury firm Fox Cranford. Nigel recently featured in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Other credits include: Chariots of Fire and more recently, Coronation Street, Little Britain and Brothers And Sisters.

Since series one Mike has separated from his wife and is feeling the pressure of both running the firm and being the long suffering boss of an admin team that shirks any responsibility to work.

Mike continues to be the object of his now PA, Gloria’s (played by Sian Reeves) affections and it remains to be seen if her love goes unrequited. Nigel says, “Mike is a man on the edge in this series. His wife has left him and the business is struggling. The pressure is on Mike and that means his young staff are more annoying than ever.” adding, “The antics of the monkeys continually wind him up.“

Nigel says: “Mike has put up with the back office shambles because, the admin team is a necessary evil. It’s better to have them than new people who could be even worse. At least Tania knows what she’s doing and Darrel tries – he obviously gets it wrong on many occasions, but if he needs people to work late then they would. Kenny and Asif continue to get into trouble, but strangely Mike often sticks up for them!.”
